Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim took part in the Ministerial Forum for the Human Capital Project, which was organized by the World Bank Group virtually today. The forum was held in the presence of ministers from 70 countries around the world, with the aim of exchanging experiences and expertise on human capital development in the post-COVID-19 pandemic stage.
The Human Capital Project (HCP), is an initiative to increase investments in people for economic growth and greater equity worldwide. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, it is even more critical to understand why countries should invest in human capital (HC) and safeguard hard-won gains. The World Bank, countries, and partners are joining forces to close the enormous Human Capital gap in the world during COVID-19 and afterwards.
